a family photo

We have a family shot at last...it's been a few months and you can see how much Micah has plumped up!

Of course I'm biased but I sure love my kids! Thanking God for these beautiful blessings. :)

Chemo started last week. Had some rough days but I know Who my Savior is and He's seeing me through. :) Thanking Him for loving family and friends who have checked on me. Thanks everyone for praying.

Prayer Requests

*Pray for our church partnerships. *Pray for Madylanne as she practices driving and begins her senior year in Kansas August 14th. Pray she'll have a great year! *Pray for our family as we return to Africa at the end of August (without Madylanne). Pray for all of us as we make this big adjustment. *Pray for all the ministries which are ongoing while we are away, and for our national partners who are leading. *Pray for outreach at the new Kisima location. *Pray that the community will see Kisima as a blessing. *Pray for our children to transition well back to life in Africa beginning in September as they start a new school year. *Pray for our family as we move into a new home on the coast in early September. Pray it will be a dry, healthy, and safe home. Pray we can share Jesus with our new neighbors. *Pray for the families involved in the weekly occupational therapy group. Pray the seeds of the Gospel shared in the Bible stories will take root in their hearts so that they can have hope through Jesus Christ. *Pray for God to bring men who are using heroin to Kisima to find freedom from addiction through Jesus. *Pray for the overall health of our family. *Please pray for those struggling with drug addiction. It is a big problem on the coast of East Africa. *Please pray for the Digo and Ndengereko people.

Praises

Thank God with us that:

-We have had so many opportunities to share with SBC churches in the US all that God is doing in east Africa!

-We have a lovely home to stay in while we are here and a vehicle to drive. God has provided abundantly!

-Micah and Mark had successful surgeries. Please pray for Mark as his eyes continue to heal.

-We are grateful for time with family.

- For a new emphasis on reaching all the groups of people in our area along the coast.

- There are nationals reaching the Ndengereko...and a few believers among the Ndengereko people...and at least one group meeting for worship and to study the Bible together.
