 Mark spent a month in Kansas with his Mom and siblings. 

We are so grateful he had the opportunity 

to love on her in person. 

We love you, Mom, 

and are praying for you in this season of your life! 

Occupational Therapy at Kisima

 This is what we do on Thursdays...

love on kids through delivering occupational therapy. 

And share Bible stories so that people can 

go home knowing how to have a relationship 

with Jesus through God the Father. They are loved! 

Learning Sign Language

What is Madylanne doing these days, you might ask?

She is learning Sign Language every day

in the big city that is close-ish to us.

She stays there in the city Monday-Thursday and comes home

Thursday afternoon to spend weekends with us.

She's loving what she is learning.

All her teachers are deaf...it's fabulous 

that she is learning from those who 

 use sign in their daily lives.

Madylanne is soaking up this time of immersing herself

in a new language and culture.

May the Lord use this in her life 

to be a blessing to many.

 

First day on campus...10th and 6th grade

Matthew is a 10th grader this year

and Micah is a 6th grader.

Time is flying!! 

 

Birthday fun for Melynda

On my birthday the boys brought me breakfast in bed!

It was a secret mission concocted by our dear friend Nancy

who sells fresh fruit and veggies in her shop...

she asked the boys to come the day before and she loaded 

them up with fruit for them to make me a fruit salad!

What a sweet sweet surprise!!!

 The kids know I love to play games with our family 

so they got me a new card game....Oregon Trail!!

It's so much fun! 

So far we keep dying of dysentery or a broken wagon

but one of these days we're gonna make it to 

Oregon!! 

It's a Baby Boom!

We thank God for this sweet season of babies! 

Pastor Mike and Ednah welcomed Sifa (which means praise) 

into their family on September 3rd. 

She is a sweet bundle of joy 

for which we indeed praise the Lord!!

Two families from our therapy group 

also welcomed new family members over the last few months.

We thank God for all these children and 

pray they will come to know Jesus 

as Savior!

come serve with us!! 

Our hearts were so encouraged to have 

church family from our home state that we know and love

with us.

Pastor John and Amanda Harms walked with us

through cancer in 2014/2015.

They loved on us when we were hurting.

What an absolute joy to host them and serve the Lord together!

Home visits to families of children 

with cerebral palsy.

Pastor John led a Shepherding Conference 

for national pastors.

An amazing safari which was gifted to us 

by their church family.
