Ramadan

Oh my does time fly. Matthew turned 15 on February 2nd. What a young man he is becoming. Taller than me which he loves of course. Steady, thoughtful, smart, funny, caring, comic loving, netball player, cat fan, faithful friend and brother, teen who loves Jesus. We are so grateful to the Lord for creating Matthew! Please pray with us that he will continue walking in step with the Lord in the year ahead.

Meet Alisyn, an occupational therapy student from Kansas,

who is volunteering with us once a week until March

as a part of her doctoral degree program through

the University of Kansas.

Prayer Requests

Feb/March 2026 *Pray for Muslim people all over the globe who will be celebrating Ramadan soon. As they pray and fast, may they be drawn to Jesus Christ, who loves them and desires for them to know Him as Savior. *Pray for Kisima Community Center as we plan for our "firsts"...first day of therapy, first small business training, etc. May the Lord bring people who will benefit from what is being offered and most of all may they have hearts that long to know Jesus as Savior! *Pray for Mark's family in the US as they continue looking for the best ways to support Mark's Mom during this time and in the days ahead. *Pray for Madylanne as she only has one more semester of high school to go! Pray the Lord will help her finish strong and guide her as she considers what her next steps for the future will be. *Pray the Lord will guide us and keep our eyes on Him in 2026. *Pray for the many volunteer teams we have coming in 2026 to serve alongside us. We are excited for all that God is doing! *Pray for community outreach at Kisima on Thursdays. *Pray that Kisima will be a blessing in the community and that many will be able to hear about Jesus through it. *Pray for our health as we continue to experience mold issues due to living on a tropical coast. *Pray for the families receiving occupational therapy. May it be a blessing to them and an open door to sharing Jesus Christ. *Please pray for the Digo and other peoples of the coast in East Africa.

Praises

Thank God with us that:

-Matthew turned 15 Feb 2nd, Amazing! We thank God for the young man he is and how God is shaping him.

-We have an OT student from Kansas volunteering with us once a week throughout February, yeah Alisyn!

-37 people heard about Jesus at our first community meal through Kisima Community Center

-Matthew returned safely from his time at camp and had a great time with friends growing in the Lord.

-Many people heard the good news that Jesus the Messiah was born during the live nativity which was performed in December.

-We have many volunteer teams coming to serve with us in 2026!

- For a new emphasis on reaching all the groups of people in our area along the coast.
