8th grade graduation

Madylanne and Elias, our team leader's son, celebrated their 8th grade graduation from homeschool recently. We are proud of their hard work and also excited for what God has ahead for both of them. 

A very sweet moment as their father's pray over them. May the Lord bless them 

and keep them and use them for His glory! 

 

Worshiping in the new church building

 

This is the new church building for Emmanuel Baptist Church. It is a duplex that has been partially renovated - they knocked out one wall so that there is enough room for everyone. Please pray for EBC to be a light in their community and shine brightly for Jesus. 

The lovely couple below are Michael and Ednah. Michael is the pastor at Emmanuel. Please pray for God to continue using him to preach Biblical truth. He LOVES telling people about Jesus and he is an amazing discipler. Please also pray for Ednah, as she invests in women's lives. 

Baby kittens

Matthew is holding a new addition to our family...a tiny baby kitten we found abandoned in a hole yesterday afternoon right outside our fence. (We waited an entire day to see if the mother would return but there were no signs that she did.) This little cutie has a sibling, too. We've been feeding these babies with syringes every 2-3 hours...goat milk....wondering when their eyes will open...they are fuzzy and sweet and make me remember my days with newborns! :)
 

Neighbors

These are the neighboring kiddos at our new place. Baby Ivan and Madylanne are good buddies. Sirham is 5- such a sweet playmate for Micah, and Matthew too. They loved getting the construction vehicles out and playing in the dirt.

WOOHOOO! 

We were so very thankful our things arrived from Zambia safely...and we had many helpers unloading...thank you Lord for the help! Many hands made lighter work for sure. 

Jumping for Joy

The kids were VERY excited to help Mark assemble the trampoline. It's been waiting in a crate for two years! Lots of bouncing and laughing going on around here. 

 

Fries with that?

 We ordered pizza from a new place closer to our new house and Matthew ordered fries with his pizza....we all laughed to discover the fries ON the pizza!  Ha!
