Samuel is making great progress!
In this picture you see his mom holding a stool for him to be able
to push himself into his cart by himself.
This is a huge victory! It used to take 2-3 people to lift him into his cart.
He is so proud of this accomplishment and we rejoice with him.
He's demonstrating that he can lift his arms much higher these days as he does his exercises. You can see he still has one spot on his arm that is healing. It is much better than it used to be.
Please pray for him as he awaits a ruling that when complete should allow him to receive limited benefits from the Power Company. He's been waiting almost two years.
The chairs and tents represent something new that is happening- a mother of a child with cerebral palsy is strongly advocating for a school that will serve children with CP and other physical disabilities here in our area, since there is none right now. A vacant former school building has been located and permission given to renovate the school so that it can be used for this very purpose. Rejoice with us!! And pray for the many children and families who will benefit from it...may the Lord open the doors for us to be able to enter this space with His love and Good News.
