Wonderful WMU ladies of Eureka

These ladies are some of the wonderful Women's Missionary Union group at Jefferson Street Baptist Church in Eureka, Kansas where we spoke last Sunday. I just wanted to cry when I saw they have an active WMU at their church. Thank you, ladies, for your faithful prayers for missions, missionaries, and for the water filter through the Pure Love Pure Water program!! Thank you for leading Children in Action, at your church, too, a missions rich Bible and discipleship program for children. May many future missionaries be inspired through the Holy Spirit and your teaching!!

Forever friends

We are SOOOOO thankful Andrea, Justin and Caleb came to visit us last weekend!! Andrea I love you and your sweet family so much! You are a treasure from God!!

These are some of the things we are doing these days....Matthew is learning how to assemble models with his dad......

Micah is knocking his teeth out with light sabers... (thank goodness they were baby teeth and not permanent ones!)

And Madylanne is playing basketball with her junior high.

Happy Birthday, Mark!

We traveled to The Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on Mark's birthday. It's just over an hour away from where we are staying in Burden. We love you very much, Mark!!

Woolaroc

We had the blessing of a family outing a few weeks ago. We visited a place near Bartlesville called Woolaroc- My family used to come here when I was a child so it was a lot of fun bringing our own children here! We hiked the trails and enjoyed the wildlife and amazing museum full of artifacts.

Prayer Requests

March 2024

*Pray for the group of men who began theological training last month. One of the pastors was really excited about what He is learning when Mark visited with him. May he and the other students apply what they are learning in the churches where they serve. *Pray for a family from the Friday therapy group who lost their son due to malaria recently. There has been an outpouring of love and support from their family, friends, and neighbors. This is the only Christian family in our group. Pray comfort for them as they are heartbroken. As their community sees how much they loved their son, may their lives point to the reason they have hope- Jesus. *Pray for God to bring men who are using heroin to Kisima to find freedom from addiction through Jesus. Pray for Mark and his national partner as they seek the Lord's guidance about how to expand this ministry. *Pray for health for our family...mold is constant battle where we live. *Please keep praying for our language learning. *Please pray for us to keep our focus on Jesus. *Please pray for those struggling with drug addiction. It is a big problem on the coast. *Please pray for the Digo and Ndengereko people.

Praises

Thank God with us that:

-We have a number of volunteer teams who want to come and serve with us this year.

-The men began theological classes last month and are excited about what they are learning.

-We had the opportunity to share Jesus with a woman who came to sell us sesame seed treats while we were seated at a restaurant.

- Melynda is cancer free, praise God!!

- There are nationals reaching the Ndengereko...and a few believers among the Ndengereko people...and at least one group meeting for worship and to study the Bible together.
