School books!!

We are SO SO SO thankful our school books arrived! We are fully aware of what a huge gift it is to have your support so that we can order school materials for our kids and have them sent here!! Usually volunteers bring our books but since no volunteers are able to come this summer, the books had to be shipped this time, the first time ever we've had to do this. It makes us very thankful for many things- sacrificial giving which makes possible purchasing the books, volunteers that we miss for many reasons, people who helped shipped the books here, the fact that ALL the boxes arrived safely, and that Zambia has a reliable way to ship boxes. What a mighty God we serve!!

nearly a teenager

Here's Madylanne, in her nest, surrounded by books, working hard at 7th grade. I am proud of her continued effort and very proud of her for working so hard in math this year!

the Word of God

In the mornings we have been praying through an A-Z book about people groups who do not have a Bible in their language yet. Micah points out the letters and we take turns praying for these peoples and their need for the Word of God in their language. Will you join me in praying for Bible translation for these peoples and all peoples who desperately need to hear and be able to read the sweet story of God sending His perfect Son to die in our place so that we might all have access to God the Father through a relationship with Jesus?

Just hanging around

This is one of Matthew's favorite spots to read these days.
No, I'm not kidding. 😂

Mother's Day

Here's a happy selfie from Mother's Day! I am so blessed by my children and Godly husband. The kids made lovely cards and washed dishes all day, we got take out for dinner, and Mark brought me flowers. I even got a nap!! Thank You Lord, for my family!!

Lu ituta Silozi

We are still working on our Silozi while we are here in Lusaka!

Jesu a li:
Ki na nzila, ni niti, ni bupilo; hakuna mutu ya ka taha ku Ndate, konji ka na.
Joani 14:6

S'mores

We are thankful for our quarantine buddies. Such a blessing from God.

Good Reading

These are the books I've been reading lately....good reading!

A missing tooth?

Micah was eating carrot sticks on Easter Sunday afternoon and I noticed there was a gap in his bottom row of teeth...he lost his first tooth!!!

Chef Madylanne

Madylanne made some delicious chocolate pudding for all of a few weeks ago. The boys gobbled it all up.

I just love this picture of Madylanne hard at work.

Bikes are the best!

The boys are super excited that our crate made it to Lusaka- Mark unloaded their bikes and they've really been enjoying have space to ride around on them here at the guesthouse. Matthew was so pleased he remembered how to ride!

Micah is still getting the hang of riding his bike without training wheels. It's gonna take some practice!

Passover

What a blessing to experience Passover meal with our dear friends, the Gunters. We are blessed to be in Lusaka with mission family during this season of sheltering in place.
