Her first play

Madylanne got a part in her school play and their performances were last weekend. We are so proud of her for trying out and learning new things about herself! We got to watch a recording of the performance for our family fun pizza night last night. Way to go, Madylanne!

wet n wild

The boys are really loving being able to play on the trampoline again, thanks to a number of people who helped mail and then pack a trampoline mat in a suitcase that came this direction with trustees. Thank you all who had a part in getting this here! You can see it's extra fun with a water hose! Our neighbor's son Sirham loves it too!

Tsuma

Tsuma is the name of this man. He is a new believer and doing a fabulous job driving this tuk tuk. This income helps his family and also goes to help support the drug rehab center. Please pray for Tsuma and also for the rehab center to help many who need to be free of addiction.

Beautification

Our neighbor Wendy does a great job styling hair. She and her husband Kevin opened up a hair salon this week and we had the privilege of praying with them over their new business. We're excited for them in this new endeavor! The name of their salon is Ventures.

Prayer Requests

March 2024

*Pray for the group of men who began theological training last month. One of the pastors was really excited about what He is learning when Mark visited with him. May he and the other students apply what they are learning in the churches where they serve. *Pray for a family from the Friday therapy group who lost their son due to malaria recently. There has been an outpouring of love and support from their family, friends, and neighbors. This is the only Christian family in our group. Pray comfort for them as they are heartbroken. As their community sees how much they loved their son, may their lives point to the reason they have hope- Jesus. *Pray for God to bring men who are using heroin to Kisima to find freedom from addiction through Jesus. Pray for Mark and his national partner as they seek the Lord's guidance about how to expand this ministry. *Pray for health for our family...mold is constant battle where we live. *Please keep praying for our language learning. *Please pray for us to keep our focus on Jesus. *Please pray for those struggling with drug addiction. It is a big problem on the coast. *Please pray for the Digo and Ndengereko people.

Praises

Thank God with us that:

-We have a number of volunteer teams who want to come and serve with us this year.

-The men began theological classes last month and are excited about what they are learning.

-We had the opportunity to share Jesus with a woman who came to sell us sesame seed treats while we were seated at a restaurant.

- Melynda is cancer free, praise God!!

- There are nationals reaching the Ndengereko...and a few believers among the Ndengereko people...and at least one group meeting for worship and to study the Bible together.
