Baby kittens

Matthew is holding a new addition to our family...a tiny baby kitten we found abandoned in a hole yesterday afternoon right outside our fence. (We waited an entire day to see if the mother would return but there were no signs that she did.) This little cutie has a sibling, too. We've been feeding these babies with syringes every 2-3 hours...goat milk....wondering when their eyes will open...they are fuzzy and sweet and make me remember my days with newborns! :)

Neighbors

These are the neighboring kiddos at our new place. Baby Ivan and Madylanne are good buddies. Sirham is 5- such a sweet playmate for Micah, and Matthew too. They loved getting the construction vehicles out and playing in the dirt.

 The crate is here!
WOOHOOO!
We were so very thankful our things arrived from Zambia safely...and we had many helpers unloading...thank you Lord for the help! Many hands made lighter work for sure.

Jumping for Joy

The kids were VERY excited to help Mark assemble the trampoline. It's been waiting in a crate for two years! Lots of bouncing and laughing going on around here.

Fries with that?

We ordered pizza from a new place closer to our new house and Matthew ordered fries with his pizza....we all laughed to discover the fries ON the pizza!  Ha!

Thankful heart

Lucy went above and beyond while I had Covid...she made me ginger lemon tea and even gave me a scalp massage one day! Mark also was an amazing caregiver. He ran to the pharmacy a million times I think and took me to the doctor and let me rest. Rest A LOT. Like I was in bed for two weeks. Thank You Lord, for my amazing husband, and for Lucy, and for everyone who prayed and helped us in many different ways.

The banana muffin test

We spent a lot of time at home while I had Covid, as you will see in the next posts. I was in bed a lot! The kids and Mark were creative and did lots of fun things. I finally knew I was starting to feel better when I could make banana muffins- with great help!
Thank you everyone who prayed for me and checked on me....Micah had fever for a day but got over his in 24 hours. I am truly thankful to the Lord for helping me heal and thankful for all your prayers! I still have to rest a bit more than before but I know in time I will get my stamina back.

Football with Dad

Mark played soccer with the kids the other day- they really loved that. :)

MicLympics 2021

We had the MicLympics at our house...hurtles and acrobatics...red vs. blue. The kids had a lot of fun!
