Cataract surgery

Thank you so much for praying for Mark's cataract surgery. He seems to be recovering well but his vision is sometimes blurry and he has headaches. He has a follow up appointment this week so we'll see what the doctor says.

He was able to share Jesus with a woman in the waiting room so that was a blessing!

Christmas in Kansas

 Merry Christmas from Kansas!

Thank You, Jesus, for being the hope of our hearts...the weary world rejoices!!

We loved seeing dear friends- Kansans who are serving in Zambia with the IMB!- who made a fast trip to the US for Christmas. Our kiddos love Ethan so much!! And we love his parents, Nathan and Kim, too.

Of course we had to do a little sledding when it snowed 3 1/2 inches on New Years Day!! SNOW much fun!

Nana hugs

Nana hugs sure are wonderful. :)

Nana showed us how to get the seeds out of a pomegranate...ya whack on it with a wooden spoon and the seeds fall out! Now that's fun! And yummy!

Christmas with the Wints

We sure enjoyed special time with Grandma and Grandpa over Christmas.

We enjoyed a visit to Independence to see Matt, too.

This is one of my favorite shots. Grandpa doing what he loves- sitting on his tractor, mowing the 80.

Papa and Grandma Donna

We were blessed to spend an afternoon with Papa and Grandma Donna for Christmas. What a sweet time together.

Mrs. Jaurene and Christmas carols

Mrs. Jaurene is such a sweet blessing from the Lord. She came to visit us a few days before Christmas with a very special gift for the kids: marbles. She sat down on the carpet and taught the kids how to play. Such a special treat! Thank you, Mrs. Jaurene, for thinking of us and teaching us how to play! Every time we play marbles we will remember you, thank God for you, and pray for you and your family!

We had a lot of fun singing carols from the back of two trailers. This is the church family from First Baptist Church Burden. What a blessing to sing praises to the Lord together, to those sheltering at home.
