Stylin'

We are stylin' in our gear to go outside the fence....Madylanne in her sunglasses, me in my skirt, and Mom in a citengi. Now we are ready to face the Lozi world! :) Mom got to meet some of the neighbor ladies for the first time on this visit outside into Sesheke.

thank you Ruth!

Here I am as happy as a clam because I have a wonderful way to carry around Matthew, who LOVES to be held ALL the time. :) Thank you Ruth, my dear friend of the heart, for sending this to us!!! I love you and thank God for you!!

Buhobe and relish

Here we are eating traditional Zambian food, buhobe and relish. It's basically like thick grits and cabbage with onions and tomatoes. It's really good! Madylanne LOVES it. Teresa made it for us, as you can see on the bottom. Thanks Teresa!

Go Jayhawks!

Rock Chalk Jayhawks!!!!

Thanks for the goodies!

Here is Nana (Melynda's Mom) amid all the goodies she brought with her for us...thank you to all of you who contributed to this! Madylanne is helping pull a card out of an envelope in the top photo. The bottom photo is of Nana holding Matthew for the first time.

Nana is Here!

Nana is here! yeah!!! She arrived last Friday, March 18th and has been here in Sesheke a whole week already, wow time flies!!! Thank you for your prayers for a safe journey for her...she arrived safely, as did all her luggage. Thank You God! Mark was able to go to the customs area to help her get all her footlockers.
